Water is composed of hydrogen and oxygen.
Sources of water: Streams, Rivers, Rain, Oceans, sea etc.


Importance of Water:


1. It helps in digestion of food.

2. It is a main component of plant and animal.


3. It is a solvent for vitamin B and C.

4. It aids excretionof metabolic wastes.

5. Transportation of hormones.



Balanced diet:

What is balanced diet - This is a food that contains all the six classes of food (carbohydrate, Protein, Fats and oil, Mineral salts, Vitamins, Water) in their right proportion.
