1. Chloroplast are present in plant cells while chloroplats are absent in animal cells.




2. Cell walls are present in plant cells while cell walls are absent in animal cells.




3. Plant cells have definite shape, animal cells have irregular shape.




4. Lysosome is absent in plant cell while lysosome is present in animal cells.




5. Centriole is present in animal cells but absent in plant cells.





SIMILARITIES BETWEEN PLANT AND ANIMAL CELLS




Both have nucleus.


Both have cytoplasm.



Both have vacuole.



Both have cell membrane.
