Sources of Energy and Energy Transformation

Sources of Energy: Natural sources of energy include food, wood, fuel such as crude oil, coal and natural gas, sun fat water. of all those natural sources of Energy, sun is the ultimate source of energy for the living world. Plant use solar energy to manufacture their own food and animal obtain this energy by eating the plant.



Energy Transformation: Energy can be converted from one form to another. For example: Green plants convert light into chemical energy during photosynthesis and all other organisms can convert this tored energy. Such as the conversion of a chemical energy into light energy results in the glow of light.


Solar Energy is converted to heat energy in the burning of a paper when the solar energy is focused on it using converting lens.

Chemical energy can be converted into light in the lightning of an electrical bulb.
